<description>In June of 2007 I purchased 20 acres of dense mixed woodland on the edge of the native Tall Grass Prairie in Oklahoma. I live on this 20 acres and have planted many different species of wildflowers that are native to this biome. I have recorded 8 species of bees this summer and I only saw one Bumble Bee. I am in the process of establishing this area as a wildlife reserve. We will not allow anyone on this property except professors of biology for a period of 5 years in order to keep the area undisturbed. I would encourage more people to do the same.
