Thank you for pledging to the Butterfly-A-Thon. All pledges will support The Xerces Society's work in Butterfly Conservation. There are three ways you can pledge:

1. Download a pledge form (PDF, word document), then mail it to: Xerces, 4828 SE Hawthorne Blvd., Portland, OR 97215.

2. Email The Xerces Society (please provide your name, mailing address and how much you would like to pledge per species of butterfly).

3. Call The Xerces Society at 503-232-6639.

The Butterfly-A-Thon is based on pledges; the total amount you pay will be calculated at the end of 2008 based on the number of species that Bob Pyle finds and positively identifies in 2008. For example, if you pledge $0.10 per species and Bob sees 458 species, you would pay $45.80 in January of 2009. There are only about 800 total species of butterflies in North America; Bob Pyle hopes to see 500 of them over the next year.
