Conserving Pollinators in Agricultural Landscapes

Native bees are valuable crop pollinators. These wild bees help increase crop yields, and may serve as important insurance when honey bees are hard to come by. Recent research has demonstrated that native bees make a significant contribution to crop pollination—in some cases providing one hundred percent of the pollination required by a crop.
