By donating to the Xerces Society you are accepting the policies described in this Privacy Policy. The Xerces Society may revise this policy from time to time and we will post any changes to this webpage.

Information we collect
We will collect your name, address, phone and email if given, and your payment/donation history. We take precautions to keep this information secured both in paper form and electronically.

How we use your information
We use this information to acknowledge your payments/donations, contact you with questions, send you Xerces news and updates, send you donation requests, and for internal reporting.

Name and Address Sharing
We do occasionally trade member mailing addresses for one-time use with other carefully chosen conservation organizations. This is one important way that we gain new members, and introduce our members to other like-minded organizations. We will never sell your contact information, nor do we ever share telephone numbers or email addresses. You can opt-out of sharing at any time. Just call, write, or email a note explaining your desire to opt-out. Please include your full name and mailing address in any correspondence.

Email Addresses
We ask for your email address in case we have a question about your membership, contact information, or a particular merchandise order. We may also send you Xerces e-newsletters to alert you of any Xerces news and updates. We will never trade or share your email address with another group. If you do not want receive our e-newsletters, please call, write, or email a note explaining your desire to opt-out and we will remove your email from the e-newsletter list.
