Community Engagement Assistant
Carly has a bachelor’s degree from Portland State University in environmental science and management and minors in biology and sustainability. She joined the Xerces Society with 5 yrs of experience working at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge, where she began as a volunteer. Carly has held a multitude of positions at the Refuge, including community engagement coordinator and habitat restoration specialist. She is passionate about working with volunteers and the community to achieve positive conservation outcomes. She is an Oregonian based out of the Portland office, and enjoys hiking, photography, road trips, and discovering off-trail waterfalls in her free time.
