As the Grants and Corporate Giving Specialist, Lisa is responsible for grants, contracts, and contributions from businesses and private foundations. She works to secure and manage donations to achieve Xerces’ fundraising goals, facilitating a wide variety of different charitable giving campaigns.
Lisa studied visual art and cognitive neuroscience at the University of California in San Diego, earning her masters of fine arts degree with a socially engaged art project that highlights the vulnerability of our pollinators. Lisa is passionate about science communication and spends her free time creating interactive artworks about nonhuman perception, ecological interdependence, and empathy. She also loves adventuring in the mossy wonderlands of the Pacific Northwest with her cattle dog, Scout.
