Rosemary Quinn joined Xerces in 2024. Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Rosemary has been based in Portland, Oregon since 2017.
Before working at Xerces, Rosemary worked for GLOBALG.A.P. North America, a company that manages a food safety certification standard. Back in California, Rosemary worked for the Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) and managed the Buy Fresh Buy Local campaign for the Santa Clara Valley, while providing marketing support to small family farmers. Rosemary also has experience working in organic certification. Her strong background at various non-profits and farm-level certifications lends itself well to her role at Xerces, where she primarily supports the Bee Better Certified program.
In her free time, Rosemary has been working on building her own tiny house on wheels called the Lemon Drop, and is a dog mom to a two-year old rescue beagle named Phoebe.
